The FCS Vega is a converted mini-PSV to a modern service vessel for the aquaculture industry. She was originally a 44 m long supply ship built in 2002, undergoing a complete modification and renewal in 2020 with new fittings, electronics and equipment. The very latest SHM deck equipment was mounted on deck, making the FCS Vege aflexible, state-of-the-art service vessel well suited for both aquaculture operations and light offshore operations.Our Services
In addition, the vessel has renewed all machinery spaceswith new engines, new main switch board and electronics. A new battery packageof 337 kWh has been installed. It enables the vessel to work on site for up to 2 hours without any emission to air. The fuel consumption is especiallylow and close to the smaller 15 m service vessels in the industry today.
This year the multi-purposefunctionality is expanded with a complete salmon de-licing system built forfast and easy mob/demob with twistlock fixing to deck. On short notice thevessel changes from service to treatment mode.
